God’s holiness is above our own because He is truly perfect. But holiness also means this sense of wholeness and completeness, goodness and pureness. So if we have holiness as a value in our marriage, that means that for any impurity in ourselves, we are looking to God, His Word, and others, to get more clean and more whole.
